Lead the church in planning, conducting, and evaluating its community ministry, to include, but not limited to the school mentoring program. Plan and coordinate the church's weekend and weekday programs and other activities which may be a part of the community ministry.

Direct the planning, coordination, operation, and evaluation of the worship services. Coordinate the worship services and select brethren to participate.

Work with the Minister and Director of Education to enlist workers for grades 6-12. Conduct special training projects for workers and parents in proper relationship to the church youth training program. Advise in the use of program materials, equipment, supplies, and space by grades 6-12 in all church activities. Direct the planning and conducting special projects (such as camps, special trips and retreats) for grades 6-12. Specifically the youth conference and the annual fun day.

Lead the church in planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive program of Christian education. Serve as educational resource person and advisor to the Minister and leaders of the church program to avoid conflict, duplications and overlapping. Develop special education and training projects such as camps, retreats, and study seminars for various age groups within the congregation. Lead the church to be aware of the educational and curriculum materials available and assist in choosing the most suitable.

Receive, supervise counting and depositing all church offerings according to church policy. Post receipts and disbursements of all accounts according to financial system. May be delegated to the church secretary. Post offerings weekly to individual accounts from file envelopes. May be delegated to church secretary. Prepare bank reconciliation statements monthly. Prepare financial reports for Minister, and church business meetings. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

Work with the Minister and leaders in the supervision of all housekeeping. See that the church buildings and grounds are well kept at all times. Check all equipment and see that it is always in good working condition. Keep informed of the church calendar and see that maintenance and housekeeping work is done accordingly. Do maintenance work as necessary or as requested. Supervise all contracted work.

Provide for and conduct a session with all new members immediately following each service. Keep new members picture board up-to-date. Visit in the home of each new member by appointment. Secure all information from the new member such as profile sheet, pledge card, etc. and channel it to the office for disposition. Keep information for new members packet up-to-date and be sure all materials are available.

Requisition and purchase food for all scheduled meals and social functions. Prepare and serve food for all meals in the church dining room(s). Plan all menus for meals in the church dining room(s). Plan any refreshments to be served at the church as requested.

Assign prospects to special group of visitors by mail or phone. Design follow-up procedures. Develop a plan of evangelism and submit to Minister for approval and implementation. Teach or schedule teachers for cottage classes as necessary. Work closely with the Minister in reviewing visitors cards. Assign individuals who desire additional information. Visit all prospects possible.

Call all newcomers on the list. Give them a warm welcome to the church. Receive information about all prospects for the church. Maintain prospect visitation files for Sunday School. Keep all files up-to-date and information current

Survey the needs and consider realistically the area of concern to be included in a ministry to senior adults. Keep the Minister and church leaders informed of senior adult needs and ministry plans. Assist the Minister in soliciting deacons and other members to work in this ministry. Plan and participate in a continuous visitation program of senior adult members, particularly those in hospitals, nursing homes, and homebound shut-ins.

Help enlist and train workers for all areas including van maintenance, and safety. Direct the van workers meetings as necessary. Make recommendations to the Minister and leaders concerning the expansion of the van ministry program and assist in survey of the area. Evaluate the van ministry and make recommendation for changes where needed. Lead the church in securing vans and other needed equipment. Be responsible for all keys and for the use of and scheduling of vans for all church activities. Be responsible for the maintenance and up keep of all vans.

Work with the Minister of Education in planning and execution of the bus outreach ministry. Provide transportation for the outreach program participants as well as members of the congregation.

Maintain an adequate church library of materials and equipment. Actively promote the use of library service materials and equipment in all church activities and programs. Enlist volunteer personnel to adequately staff the library. Advise on the procurement and maintenance of all library services equipment.

Be responsible for the acquisition of time for all church approved broadcasting, and for execution of all written or verbal agreements with broadcasting personnel. Provide help in the optimum use of broadcast time for the church. Coordinate all promotion of broadcasting for the church program and ministries. Be responsible for proper care and use of all church owned broadcasting equipment and the sanctuary public address system.

Administer student Frank Cecil Brown (FCB) scholarship funds. Review and make decisions on all applications for scholarships. See that proper papers are signed and checks delivered when scholarship is awarded.

Enlist and instruct ushers and greeters to serve at all services of the church. Assure that the auditorium is in comfortable physical order before each service. Check to make sure offering plates, orders of worship, and other needed aids and supplies are in their proper place. Greet people and provide each person with an order of worship. Create an atmosphere of genuine welcome and concern for all attending the services

Safeguard the church buildings and property and property of the members while they are assembled for worship. Check to see that all outside entrances except the main entrances are locked immediately after the worship service begins. Open and close building at each scheduled and unscheduled service or meeting. Insure that the building is adequately heated or cooled as appropriate for each meeting.

On- line. Record all pulpit sermons. Maintain master copies. Take orders for duplication. Make copies as ordered. Collect funds for tapes.
